The players get to choose their own numbers. Each player has their own reason for choosing their number, some feel it is good luck, some just for random reasons.

In football, a player in a position can choose from a set of numbers designated to their position. All sports: Rookies sometimes don't get the numbers they want because they are already taken by someone else on the team, and some teams retire the numbers of great players and nobody can ever wear the number on that team.

Well for hockey you choose it yourself. Sidney Crosby who is going to be one of the best players in the NHL chose number 87 for himself because he was born on August 7th 1987. Thats 8.7.87

How do professional sports teams choose player numbers?
I’m very curious on this. How do they choose a number to be designated to a certain player. Does a player choose the number him/herself or is it already chosen for them when they enter the league? Does it vary depending on what sport it is?

The USA is the cheapest place to buy laptops or any computer for that matter. I always buy extra laptops from fry's and take them with me to China. You'll be ok as long as you either put them in the stow away luggage or can prove they turn on (aka not bombs)

I would not buy from online like that you want someone that is local and you can go to and trust they are going to be there when you need them. Try electronic stores similar to Bestbuy they have extended warranty plans for most laptop brands. Good luck.

I think it is better to buy a laptop from India itself. Tax is not the only issue. Even if you buy a laptop from US (and assuming that its after tax price in India is lower than a laptop bought from India), servicing will be difficult here. If there is a defect in any part or software, the Indian arm of the same company will NOT accept that laptop for servicing. They will insist you to send it to the US company for servicing, or insist you to talk to them first and then give it to them for servicing. So, I will suggest you to buy a laptop from India only. Just check that you have got the right configuration and right price.

If they’re used (i.e. not brand new) and for your personal / professional use there should be no problem for up to 24 months. You are not allowed to sell these items.

You can claim the other one as a gift if they do question you. Otherwise they usually don’t care. From most of my travels anyways, it’s only the US that makes you take it out of the bag when you go through security. Keep them in one bag if you can.
